Jaguar Land Rover opens new dealership in Kolkata

Based in the up market AJC Bose Road, the new Kolkata dealership will give customers access to the complete range of Jaguar and Land Rover models that are currently on sale in India

Looking at agressively expanding the reach of its high-end luxury sedans and SUV’here in India, British auto marquees Jaguar and Land Rover recently inaugurated their new dealership in Kolkata, West Bengal.
The state of the art dealership, which is the JLR’s first dealership in the eastern part of the country, comes shortly after the company opened its massive new manufacturing facility in Pune. Based in the up market AJC Bose Road, the Kolkata dealership will enable customers to access to the full range of Jaguar products that include the complete range of Jaguar and Land Rover models that are currently on sale in India, and will provide premium Jaguar Land Rover standards of sales, servicing and after sales.
Commenting on the opening of the new JLR dealership in Kolkata, Mr Rohit Suri, Head, Premier Car Division, Tata Motors, said, “The Kolkata area is a key growth market for premium luxury vehicles and thus it is extremely important for our sought after Jaguar and Land Rover products to be readily available in this region. We are very pleased to be able to provide our customers with a great dealership here in Kolkata”.

Jaguar Land Rover opened their first Indian showroom in June 2009 and now has fully operational sales and service facilities in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
At the inauguration of its new assembly plant in Chikli Pune, Jaguar Land Rover also announced that that the company will be present in 12 major metropolitan cities pan India with 14 dealer outlets by September this year, and that the expansion plan includes dealerships in the cities of Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur and Indore by the end of this calendar year.
