Ferrari opens an Enzo Ferrari museum in Modena, Italy, giving visitor's a glimpse of Enzo's life

Enzo Ferrari museum

Ferrari takes car enthusiasts down the memory lane by opening up a new Enzo Ferrari museum in Modena, Italy. The choice of inaugurating the museum on February 18 was an obvious one, as it marked the 116th birth anniversary of the racing icon Enzo Ferrari. The museum was inaugurated by Luca di Montezemolo, Chairman, Ferrari, and Piero Ferrari, son of the legendary car racer.

The museum is designed like the hood of a 50’s Ferrari racer car from the outside, and hosts a century’s history of the brand inside. There are 18 projectors inside the museum that will weave together a history of Modena’s motoring, and give visitor’s a peep into the life and times of the iconic car racer- Enzo.

Ferrari’s two museums, each, in the cities - Modena and Maranello, complement each other. Modena’s new gallery gives a glimpse of Enzo’s life and work, while the one at Maranello gives visitor’s a check of brand Ferrari’s present and future via a past history of success. Both the museums are open to visitor’s every day except for Christmas and New Year.
