Indian Motorcycles has finally opened its first dealership in India in the bustling city of Gurgaon after a launch in January 2014. Display space for 9 motorcycles has been created and the dealership will also have an accessories and apparel section. At present, all three motorcycles launched in India, the Classic, Vintage and Chieftain are on display.
The showroom has been designed drawing inspiration from showrooms in Indian Motorcycles hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts. Speaking at the Showroom inauguration, Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India said, “The start of the Indian Motorcycle’s dealer network in India reinforces the company’s serious commitment towards growing its footprint in the country. This year we intend to open two dealerships in India.” Indian Motorcycle is a wholly owned division of Polaris Industries.
The Indian showroom is a stone’s throw away from Harley Davidson’s dealership in Gurgaon but unlike Harley Davidson that’s present in more affordable segments, prices for Indian Motorcycle bikes start from a princely Rs 26.5 lakh.
