Mahindra has bagged a deal for 630 vehicles from the Indian Government which would be gifted to Nepal for their assembly elections

Mahindra has bagged an order from the Government of India for over 630 vehicles. The government is going to gift these vehicles to the Nepal government as a support for the constitutional assembly elections that will be held on 19 November, 2013. 

These Mahindra vehicles would be utilized by the Security Forces, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and as part of the convoy. “For Mahindra, it’s an absolute moment of pride that we have been chosen by the Government of Nepal to strengthen India-Nepal ties and enable one of the most important hallmarks in the history of Nepal, the Constituent Assembly elections which are to be held in November 2013,” said Ruzbeh Irani, Chief Executive –International Operations, Auto & Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
