Every year India Bike Week plays host to thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts making it just the kind of platform newly established bike makers need to showcase their strength to the masses. Although Indian Motorcycle brand has been in the global scene for a while, they entered the our maker in 2014. Since their official entry, this is the second time they have marked attendance at the India Bike Week.
This year at the IBW, Indian had a larger lineup of motorcycles on display right from entry-level Scout to Chieftain. But the one that stole all the limelight was undoubtedly the flagship Roadmaster. Powered by a 1,811cc v-twin unit that makes a whopping 161Nm, the Indian Roadmaster comes matted to 6-speed transmission. Aside from the massive engine, like all other Indian offerings, the Roadmaster too is a retro styled motorcycle that flaunts the latest tech, all with an integrated Bluetooth audio system, electronically adjustable windscreen, keyless ignition and more. Indian also had the popular Scout, Chieftain, the Chief Classic and the Chief Darkhorse.
At the end of the first day of the India Bike Week 2016, Indian also organised a private party for all its customers and dealers to celebrate the brotherhood of motorcycling and the love for the brand.
