Hyundai registers growth in domestic sales

With 36,500 units sold domestically, Hyundai India, has registered a 24.7 per cent increase in its sales for July 2015

Hyundai has registered a 24.7 per cent increase in its sales in the domestic market for the month of July 2015. The company has sold 36,500 units locally and exported 13,908 units with cumulative sales standing at 50,408 units.

Commenting on the July sales, Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, HMIL said," Hyundai's new age product portfolio led by the newly launched Global SUV Creta sustained the growth momentum with 24.7 per cent growth with a volume of 36,500 units. The tremendous response for the Global SUV Creta, i20 Active and Elite i20 showcases the customers increasing preference and early adoption for game changer products offering novelty value in style, first in segment features and strong after sale assurances."

Hyundai's current portfolio in India includes the Hyundai Eon, Hyundai i10, Hyundai Grand i10, Hyundai Elite i20, Hyundai Active i20, Hyundai Xcent, Hyundai Verna, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Elantra, and Hyundai Santa Fe.

Hyundai currently exports to around 85 countries across Africa, Middle East, Latin America, Australia and the Asia Pacific. The carmaker currently has 425 dealers and more than 1,100 service points across India.  The company also has a R&D facility in Hyderabad to provide customers with cutting-edge global technology.
