Hyundai has launched its 13th nationwide free car care clinic, from September 14 to 23, 2012. The Shell sponsored campaign will be held at 830 authorised Hyundai outlets and will offer an 80-point check-up. This will include a thorough examination of the engine, transmission, electrical system, under body, A/C, exterior and other vital parts most affected in day-to-day travel. The Korean car maker will also offer nine customers grandstand tickets to the second Formula 1 Grand Prix, 100 free and 20 per cent discount on extended warranties. However, this offer is applicable to only those customers associated with Hyundai for more than four years.

The company will offer a 10 per cent discount on spares, selected accessories and an extended warranty and 20 per cent discount on labour. “At Hyundai, we believe in keeping pace with the evolving customer needs and preferences. Our customer engagement programmes like Free Car Care Clinic allows you to understand their requirements and helps us connect with them. Through these initiatives we reaffirm our commitment to provide the best of products and services to our customers and enjoy a value added ownership experience,” said C H Han, Executive Director, Hyundai.

After the launch of the Elantra, Hyundai now has nine passenger cars in its India line-up, including the Eon, Santro Xing, i10, i20, Accent, Verna, Sonata and Santa Fe. To cater to the rising demand the company commissioned its second plant in February 2008 with a production capacity of 3.30 lakh units per year. Currently, the company has 351 dealers and over 800 authorised service points across the country.
