Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) on Monday has disclosed their new managing director. Y K Koo, the new MD will be the successor to Bo Shin Seo who has been Managing Director at Hyundai Motor India Limited since March 5th, 2012.
Koo will be taking over the responsibilities from Seo from November 8th onwards, according to the company. Seo would be returning back to Seoul, South Korea will be appointed as the Executive Director – Sales & Marketing. The current head of the Corporate Affairs, Y.K. Lee, is set to return to Korea, the company said in a statement.
HMIL constitutes to a major chunk to Hyundai Motor Company in the global market. Hyundai motor India currently exports to 85 counties worldwide. The Korean carmaker has achieved their best ever sales figures last month with a domestic number at 47,015 units. It’s a rise of 23.7 per cent compared to October 2014.
