Hyundai Creta Variant Details Revealed

The Hyundai Creta is among the most highly awaited cars to be launched in 2015 and has created a lot of curiosity among Indian consumers. The Hyundai Creta is said to not a crossover, but a proper compact SUV. According to our sources, the new Hyundai Creta will be offered in six variants to make the SUV suitable to the varying needs of customers. There will three variants each for the petrol and diesel powered Creta SUV. Through our source we have also found out that the upcoming SUV will be priced between Rs 9 lakh to 12.4 lakh in India.

The compact dimensions and the butch looks make the Creta a great SUV option for the urban landscape. The Hyundai Creta will be positioned between its arch rivals with respect to pricing i.e. the Ford Eco Sport, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano along with the upcoming Maruti S Cross. Talking about drive train, the 1.6-litre displacement motor will be sourced from the Verna sedan. The 1.6-litre Hyundai Creta diesel motor will generate 128PS of maximum power and healthy 260Nm of torque which makes it significantly powerful than its rivals.

The Creta petrol variant will house a 1.6-litre petrol mill under its bonnet good enough for 123PS of peak power and 155Nm of torque. Expected mileage for the diesel variant is around 22kmpl. The SUV will be loaded to the brim with features being a Hyundai product and the interiors will be more plush and upmarket than its rivals. The Hyundai Creta will carry forward features from the i20 Elite like keyless entry, start/stop button, day time running lamps, reverse camera, Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted controls, rear AC vents, auto folding mirrors etc. The Korean carmaker will launch the Creta on July 21 and booking are started to commence by first week of next month.
