2014 Chevrolet Camaro Concept

The Transformers are back again to save and destroy the world at the same time. In its fourth installment now, The Transformers: Age of Extinction promises enough and more of edge-of-the-seat action and drool worthy cars for the action/adventure/Sci-fi movie buff in you. Transformers 4 is releasing on June 27 and I for one am more than excited to see Bumblebee tear up the big screen.

Bumblebee as you know is a nickname given to the Chevrolet Camaro by the franchise. Cute name hot car we think, but more Transformers movies come up than Chevrolet gets out Camaros so this time we get to see the 2014 Camaro Concept that was shown at the SEMA show in Las Vegas last year. There’s more from Chevrolet too…  A green motorsport inspired Corvtte Stingray is part of the Autobot clan. A massive rear wing and a full body kit with very concept-like wing mirrors hike up the drool quotient.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse

American cars were expected to be the lead stars in this Michael Bay entertainer but there’s plenty this side of the Atlantic to set your pulse racing. First up is the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, the fastest open-top sports car in the world that has a top speed of 360kmph with the roof on and 407kmph with the roof closed. There’s more speed to whet your appetite in form of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The Aventador transforms into Decepticon Lockdown. Another Italian exotic fighting on the Decepticons side is the Pagani Huayra, with an easier name to pronounce – Stinger.

Pagani Huayra

In addition to the Autobots and Decepticons, the fourth Transformers edition has another major addition – Dinobots. Dinobots are transformers converted from Dinosaurs and the lead of the pack is a T-Rex. Talk about bringing Jurassic Park to this generation! We can’t wait.

Transformers: Age of Extinction features a whole new star-cast as well with Mark Wahlberg playing a mechanic and a struggling inventor and the gorgeous Nicola Peltz as his daughter. Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer take up important roles.
