Honda NX400 Launched In Japan; CBR400R Receives Updates

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India sold over four lakh units for the first time in the FY 2015-16, in September, selling in all, 4,30,732 two wheelers.
Automatic scooters led the sales with 10 per cent growth in September.
Overall motorcycles sales were marginally down at 1,47,258 units in September 2015, compared to 1,79,456 in September 2014. Scooter sales accounted for 2,64,385 units, growing from 2,41,124 units in the same month last year.
In all, Honda exported 19,089 units in September 2015, compared to 17,899 units in September 2014.
The company says Honda grew three times faster than the total two wheeler industry in the first half of FY2015-16, selling a total of over 22 lakh two wheeler units in the first half. Exports at HMSI also reached new heights, crossing 1 lakh units in six months, fastest ever by Honda Two Wheelers.
