Honda NX400 Launched In Japan; CBR400R Receives Updates

Led by sales in automatic scooters, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) sold over 3.5 lakh two wheeler units in May 2015, registering a 3 per cent growth over the same period last year.
Honda’s domestic sales accounted for 3,53,440 units, posting a 3.3 per cent jump over May 2014. Honda two wheelers exports grew 3 per cent from 13,394 units to 13,786 units in May 2015.
Automatic scooters continue to lead sales figures at Honda, increasing from 1,89,422 units in May 2014 to 2,15,300 units in May 2015, registering a growth of 13 per cent. Honda motorcycle sales however, slid from 1,52,714 units last year to 1,38,140 units in May 2015.
In the month of May 2015, Honda 2-wheelers domestic market share gained 1 per cent in May 2015 to reach 26 per cent and overall stood at 23 per cent for overall domestic and exports.
