Honda Two Wheelers Sales Surpasses 5 Million Mark

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) joined hands with Delhi Traffic Police to organise the Road Safety Summer Camp 2016. It was the second occasion that the Japanese two-wheeler giant was organising the event after receiving positive response last year. The main purpose of the event was to educate the youngsters with the importance of road safety. In total more than 100 children participated in the Road Safety Summer Camp 2016 held at Honda’s Traffic Training Park at Baba Kharak Singh Marg on the first day of the event. The duration of the event is from May 10th to June 10th 2016.
Elaborating on this occasion, Yadvinder Singh Guleria-Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “This summer, once again Honda in association with Delhi Traffic Police is organizing the Road Safety Summer Camp in Delhi. ‘Safety with fun’ being our priority, children will have an opportunity to learn through new exciting educational games on Road Safety Awareness. Attending this camp shall make these kids, safety influencers in their families today and responsible adult road users of tomorrow.”
The Road Safety Camp will have a combination of theoretical and practical experience for kids to make them better understand the importance of road safety. The kids will learn road safety through fun engagements like road sign intelligence game (road sign identification exercise), painting & traffic quiz contests. For kids above 13 years of age there’s Honda Riding Trainer which is a virtual riding simulator that will warn kids against 100 possible dangers on road. Kids in the age group of 9-12 years will be able trained on the Honda CRF 50 mini-bike. According to Honda, over 1,000 kids have already registered for the Road Safety Summer Camp 2016 in Delhi.
