Jaguar Land Rover opens dealership in Nagpur

Jaguar Land Rover has been playing a distant fourth fiddle for quite some time now in India to Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz but the company sure intends to narrow this gap. A major step in increasing sales is having more touch points and so the company is on a dealership expansion drive. 

JLR have opened a new dealership in Nagpur. The dealership spread across 50,000 sq.ft has space to display eight cars. Run by West Midlands Cars, named after the region in the UK where Jaguar Land Rover operates from, the showroom will be complimented by a workshop as well. The showroom is located at D – 3, MIDC, Hingna Road, Nagpur.

Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover India said, “I am delighted to be opening a new showroom in Nagpur. This fourth showroom in the State of Maharashtra, reiterates our commitment to tap the growing potential of premium car market and strengthens our foothold in the region. This 3S facility in Nagpur stands out as one of the best among premium car dealerships in the city.”

Jaguar Land Rover has been focusing on local assembly in the recent past to make their products competitive to the German three. At present, the Land Rover Freelander, Jaguar XF and Jaguar XJ are being assembled in India and the Range Rover Evoque is expected to be the next one in line.
