Honda kicks off CRF 50 Fest in Delhi

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) flagged off the CRF 50 Fest in New Delhi today.

The mega activity aims at engaging and educating kids in a fun way on the intricacies of ‘road-safety.’ More than 500 kids participated in activity today.

“Under our ‘Catch Them Young’ approach, we believe in cultivating safe-riding habits from an early age. We want the future riders of India to be responsible citizens on the road and lead to a safer road environment. CRF 50 Fest is a small step towards creating safety advocates for the society helping us achieve our dream of – Making safe riding an everyday habit,” said Y.S. Guleria, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, HMSI.

Honda CRF 50 motorcycles are specially designed for imparting training to children in the age group of 9-12 years on the dynamics of safe riding. The CRF 50 Fest is the largest congregation of CRF 50s till date.

The CRF 50 activity is a 100% fun-learning experience that replicates real-life riding conditions in an organized and secure environment. Additionally, theoretical sessions, traffic signs quiz and road rules puzzles are some of the other activities which were conducted by Honda safety instructors. Based on final performance and evaluations, one Road Safety Champ was chosen and awarded. Participating kids were presented a memento marking the occasion.

Starting from New Delhi, CRF 50 Fest will cover 12 cities including Chandigarh, Lucknow, Indore, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin, Bengaluru, Pune and Ahmedabad.

Commenting on the occasion Mr. Y. S. Guleria- Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, HMSI said,

Till date Honda has educated over 5 lac individuals of all age groups on safety riding with special focus on empowering females and kids. Additionally HMSI has adopted eight Traffic Training parks in Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Yeola (Nashik), Hyderabad and two in Delhi where it has trained over 2 lac people on safe riding.
