Honda inaugurates traffic park in Nashik

Honda Traffic Park

As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has started the company’s first traffic park in Maharashtra with this park at Nashik. This is the sixth traffic park started by the two wheeler company in India.

Honda has collaborated with the Yeola Industrial Co-operative Estate Limited - an undertaking of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for operation and maintenance of revamped traffic Park in Yeola, Nashik.

The new traffic park was inaugurated by state Minister of PWD & Tourism Chagan Bhujbal and special guest Vikram Gaikwad, President, Yeola Industrial Co-operative Estate Limited in the presence of Shreenath Kamlapurkar, Assistant General Manager – West region Sales, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.

 “The renovated Late Mohan Gunjal Traffic Park is our sixth traffic park in India and first in Maharashtra. It is a significant step towards meeting our commitment of making Safe Riding an everyday habit of all 2Wheeler riders. As a good corporate citizen, Honda will continue to invest in educating the riders and inculcating safe riding habits across India,” said Yadvinder S. Guleria, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.

Expert HondaSafety instructors (both female & male) will educate new riders on correct riding techniques at the traffic park. Honda’s Proprietary riding trainers will aid people above 13 years of age to experience over 100 possible dangers on road.

The virtual experience at the traffic park significantly increases rider’s ability to predict and react to traffic hazards. Specially imported CRF 50 motorcycles will help young minds from 9-12 years understand the importance of safety riding through practical riding experience.
