The modifications are largely limited to the design, performance enhanced slightly

Hamann Range Rover Evoque

The Range Rover Evoque, when it was launched in 2011, added sleek styling to the go-anywhere capabilities of a SUV. It didn’t feel out of place in the city or in the wilderness. Its appeal is reflected in the sales figures  as of June 2012 it has clocked up about 80,000 units worldwide.

Hamann Motorsport, the reputed German tuning company has made the Evoque even more appealing with lots of new design elements, outside and inside, to set it apart from the stock car, such as a two-part front spoiler, custom side skirts and fender flares. The Hamann Evoque has grown by 70 millimetres at the front axle and 80 millimetres at the rear axle. The suspension has been lowered by 30mm to make it handle corners better. The car is shod with stronger and lighter 22-inch aluminium wheels.

Performance enhancements include engine boost kits for both petrol and diesel engines that include high performance exhaust systems, sports air filters and engine mapping. The 2.2-litre supercharged petrol engine gains 39PS of power which increases the total power to 279PS. The diesel engine power has been increased by 34PS, while the stock 2.2-litre turbo-diesels produce either 150PS or 190PS of power.

Interior options include custom floor mats, all leather upholstery, hand-stitched materials on the dashboard and seats. Hamann claims that all these features make for more individuality than what Range Rover offers on the Evoque.

The bespoke modifications can be ordered for both the Evoque and the Evoque Coupe models.
