Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally 2016 To Be Held On July 9-10

Gulf Oil Lubricants India and Sportscraft together have scheduled the 27th edition Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally 2016 on 9th and 10th of July. The event which is affiliated by the FMSCI will have 50 riders competing in the rally and will be held at the backwoods of Navi Mumbai. The category of scooters is divided into four segments, namely: 80-110cc two-stroke, 110-160cc two-stroke, up to 160cc four-stroke, and up to 160cc general class scooters.
 
For early birds who register before 30th June 5pm, individual entry fees are Rs 800, while for group entries it is Rs 5,100. For the participants register after the said date, the fees will be hiked to Rs 1,500 for individual and Rs 7,600 for group entries.  Entries have already commenced and will be accepted on first come first serve basis. Registration will close on 5th July at 1pm.

A day prior to the event participants will be instructed and provided with the brief information about the rally course. On 10th July, the rally will commence from K-Star hotel, Belapur, Navi Mumbai and will end at the starting point. Riders only above 18 yrs of age with a valid FMSCI rally license will be allowed in this adventurous rally. The ones who do not have their licenses may apply on the organiser’s website for the same.
 
A total cash prize of Rs 75,000 will be distributed in two modules for top five overall finalists and top three riders from every scooter segment. Additional cash prize and trophies will be awarded to best riders from Thane, Pune, Nashik, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Vidarbha, Kolhapur, Bhopal and Hyderabad.
