The official image of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S has been revealed. Slated to make its debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the Japanese carmaker describes its new plug-in hybrid concept as a special design package for the regular Outlander PHEV, which made its first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show two years ago.

The Concept-S gets a special Platinum White Glass treatment, and receives new front-end styling. The new car features chrome accents around the central grille and around headlamp clusters. The rear end of the car also receives chrome accents.

Inside, the cabin receives a red and black theme with black woodgrain trim with silver accents and leather seats. The centre console is also finished in black.

Power to the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S comes from the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine working in conjunction with a twin-electric motor system which delivers a combined output of 203PS of power. The car sprints from 0-100kmph in 11 seconds with a top-speed of 160kmph.

More details of the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S will be out on October 2 when the car is officially unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Watch this space out for more.
