GM announces weekend blockbuster scheme

Bookings done on all Spark and Beat models this weekend will win assured gifts. Perhaps, even the car itself!

Chevrolet Beat Diesel

General Motors India has announced its pre-monsoon sale on Chevrolet Spark and Beat (petrol and diesel) models during the May 25,2012 to May 27,2012 weekend. Customers can book their vehicles across any showroom in India which will be open for 12 hours, 9 a.m onwards. Apart from winning assured gifts worth up to Rs 2 crore like LCD TVs and camcorders, home theatres, etc, customers stand a chance of owning their booked vehicle for free by lucky draw. The scheme is over and above the existing retail benefits such as the three-year maintenance warranty available for the Spark, Beat and Aveo models. That’s not bad at all considering the Spark starts at Rs 3.14 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi and Beat, priced in the three lakh plus range are already two of the most affordable hatchbacks around.

“This is a very special, first ever event at such a grand scale. With this offer, we have tried to offer our esteemed customers yet another reason to cheer and buy our product. We believe this offer will bring a smile to customers of the Chevrolet Spark, Beat and Beat Diesel – India’s most fuel-efficient car. We are pleased to announce this offer and look forward to a favourable response from the market,” said P. Balendran, Vice President, General Motors India.

The campaign is valid on all variants of the two hatchbacks, including the Beat diesel, which makes this a highly enticing offer to all those considering a diesel hatchback. The recent Rs 7.50 hike in petrol prices may, in fact, drive more people to book the Beat diesel.

Chevrolet is one of the largest growing automobile brands in the country. Recently, the manufacturer celebrated its 100 years in its headquarters in Detroit, USA. Aside from the Spark and Beat, the company also manufactures Aveo-UVA, Aveo, Optra, Tavera, Cruze and Captiva models from its Halol plant in Gujarat.

Beat Diesel is a really good choice for the people who are having daily travel in city more than 80 to 100 km

Beat Diesel is a really good choice for the people who are having daily travel in city more than 80 to 100 km. But we heard that company is going to discontinue the AVEO, UVA, OPTRA, is this true? If so then why are they still promoting these cars? Same thing happened with me when I bought an OPEL Corsa? Now resale value is zero, no spares available.
