General Motors has launched their facelifted 2014 Chevrolet Cruze in India

General Motors (GM) has launched an updated version of their Chevrolet Cruze in India. The sedan is available in three variants. Its base LT variant is priced at Rs 14.37 lakh, the LTZ MT is at priced Rs 15.93 lakh while the LTZ AT variant comes with a price tag of Rs 16.99 lakh. The prices of all the variants are ex-showroom Mumbai.

The facelifted 2014 Chevrolet Cruze receives revised exteriors. Upfront, the sedan gets a new dual-port grille and dual bezel designed headlamps. The fog lamps receive chrome embellishments. The car also gets newly designed alloy wheels and chrome door handles. The front and rear bumpers have received a revision too.

The interiors of the Cruze are draped in jet black leather. The newly facelifted car features an audio system with mp3/USB connectivity and Bluetooth streaming, steering mounted audio controls and electrically operated side mirrors. The car receives major safety upgrades as well. The Cruze comes equipped with dual front airbags and two side airbags to protect its passengers from collision.

A 2.0-litre turbocharged VCDi engine runs under the hood of the car producing a maximum power of 166PS and a peak torque of 380Nm. The updated 2014 Chevrolet Cruze comes with an option of six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission. The motoring giant claims that the new updated variant of the sedan comes with an improved fuel economy. The automatic variant provides a mileage of 14.81kmpl. The mileage of the manual transmission remains at 17.3kmpl.
