Infiniti Q80 Inspiration fastback concept teased

Two weeks ago Infiniti had released the first teaser image of its forthcoming new model that will make its debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The Japanese luxury car brand has now confirmed that the top-of-the-line model will be called the Infiniti Q80, and has dropped a second teaser image showing its sleek side profile.

Infiniti calls its new concept car a ‘four-passenger fastback’. The teaser image shows off a long wheelbase profile with Infiniti’s swoopy character lines tapering towards the rear end. The model is expected to ride on Mercedes-Benz’s MRA platform, and will be powered by a hybridised V6 turbo delivering as much as 700PS of power.

Infiniti hasn’t revealed more details of its concept as of now, but we expect this concept to roll out in 2017 or 2018. Further details concerning the Infiniti Q80 Inspiration concept will be released at the 2014 Paris Motor Show which is scheduled to take place in October.
