The award ceremony organised by FMSCI yesterday where Indian motorsport champions who were presented accolades for their achievements in motorsport. Armaan Ebrahim was awarded with the FMSCI Motorsports Man of the Year

The 2015 Indian motorsport champions were presented accolades yesterday at the award ceremony organised by Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries and automotive personalities. Armaan Ebrahim, an ace driver, who has achieved admirable performance in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia Series was awarded the FMSCI Motorsports Man of the Year. Ebrahim was awarded the ‘Raymond Gautam Singhania Rolling Trophy’ and handed a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh on his achievement. Armaan Ebrahim, former race car driver said, “I am delighted to be recognised for this award by FMSCI and would like to take opportunity to thank my family and supporters for their constant encouragement.”

The lifetime achievement award was presented by Dr. Vijay Mallya to B.I. Chandhok who is an automotive enthusiast at heart and has been greatly involved in the field of Indian motorsport.

Remarking on the lifetime achievement award, B.I. Chandhok said, “I am extremely privileged to be associated with the FMSCI, being a motor sport enthusiast, I feel honoured to see the progression of motor sports in India. I would like to congratulate all recipients of the awards tonight and wish them all the best for the coming year.”

The FMSCI ceremony also presented more 99 drivers awards for their contribution and achievements across eight different Championships.
