Firefox launches MTV bicycles
Company targets youth with MTV edition bikes

After their India launch in 2005, Firefox has come a long way and now is a major player in the bicycle industry. To target the youth, Firefox has now launched its MTV edition bikes with prices ranging from Rs 10,030 to Rs 16,430. “Children of the age group of 15 to 20 years have now started moving on to motorcycles rather than bicycles. In order to expand our market share, we have introduced our MTV edition of bikes as MTV enjoys a huge brand loyalty amongst the youth. These new bikes have specially been designed keeping the generation next in mind,” said Shiv Inder Singh, Managing Director, Firefox Bikes.
The MTV Firefox range includes four bicycles, namely, Thor, Smoke, Hades and Dirt, all of which have different configurations to suit various body styles. The Thor features a 16-inch Enduro steel Y-frame and Shimano 6-speed gears with Revo shifter. The top-of-the-line Hades is equipped a 16-inch alloy ‘Hydro’ frame and Shimano 21-speed gears with EZ fire shifters.
