FIREFOX bikes set NIFT's Annual Fest on 'fire'

FIREFOX bikes in association with NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) organized NIFT Annual Festival on the 23rd of February 2011 at the NIFT campus, Hauz Khas. The first day saw the designers participating in the Slow Bike Riding competition where the enthusiasts could walk away with 10 Firefox bikes.

Palaash Chaudhary came in first (by coming in last), with Vivek Kanaujia and Abhishek Sinha who took the first and the second runner-up spots respectively. All three went home with a Mountain Bike package sponsored by Wildrif.

“It was a unique experience to be present amongst today’s fashion crazy youth, and our bikes did match up to the style statement.” said Mr. Shiv Inder Singh, MD, FIREFOX Bikes. He added that as today’s youth are aware and concerned about the environment and that it is the right platform to promote cycling as an environment friendly transport and that a change in attitude can easily lead us to a cleaner and healthier future. 

It is FIREFOX’s endeavour to stimulate today’s youth with the cycling experience - an activity that is fun, sporty, competitive, outdoor, healthy and also makes a style statement.
