Celebrating anniversary with a limited edition model has become a fad among auto manufacturers. Commemorating its 95th anniversary, Bentley too joins the bandwagon as it is now set to produce 15 units of its Limited Edition Mulsanne 95. So how is this new Mulsanne different from the rest you ask?
Firstly, the Bentley Mulsanne 95 will be made available in UK only and will be offered in three colour schemes – Britannia Blue, Empire Red and Oxford White. Each of these colours has been specially created for the Mulsanne 95 and will be painted to the model using latest technologies and then will be hand finished at the paint shop. The car will come with a specially made dark tint finish to the company’s Flying B logo. The Mulsanne 95 also runs on 21-inch alloy wheels.
The interiors have also been similarly designed with a classy amalgamation of wood and leather. The highlight of the car though, is the wood that has been used to adorn the insides, sourced from an extremely rare walnut tree that is roughly 400 years old. Making the Mulsanne even more unique are the ‘Ninety-five’ and the ’95’ emblems on the door sill and the seats.
The Limited Edition Bentley Mulsanne 95 will be powered by the same 6.75-litre V8 engine that makes a whopping 512PS of power and 1020Nm of torque. It touches the 100kmph marker in just 5.3 seconds and can record a top speed of 296kmph.
Bentley started off by working on aircrafts for the First World War but was only established as an automotive firm in 1919. The Limited Edition Mulsanne 95 is priced at £ 2, 59,980 (Rs 2.55 crore approximately).
