Fiat introduces 5x5 offer across models in India

With an aim to woo potential buyers in India Fiat has come up with a lucrative offer called the ‘5x5’. Under this offer, all Fiat cars, including the Linea, Linea Classic, Punto Evo and Avventura, can be had with a 5-year warranty (including extended warranty), 5-year roadside assistance and five free services.

Fiat has also added a surprise element to the offer by announcing that five lucky couples stand a chance to win a trip to Italy. Fiat Linea will get all the five benefits of the scheme, while the other models in the line-up will not get the 5.5 per cent interest advantage from this package.

The carmaker hasn’t performed well in the Indian market in the past few years. One of the reasons behind the dwindling sales of the company is its poor after-sales service. But, while the carmaker hasn’t tasted success with its vehicle sales in the recent times, it has been doing well as an engine supplier. Its 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel engine has been very popular and is used in a number of cars produced by manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors.

Fiat is aiming to strengthen its foothold in the country by improving its service quality. The carmaker had recently announced a service camp across its 131 dealerships in the country. The carmaker also plans to rake in profit with the introduction of this scheme.
