The rumor mill on a more powerful version of the Ferrari F12 has been doing the rounds for a while and now these spyshots from inside the Ferrari factory confirm the existence of one. The all new Ferrari F12 Speciale or GTO (name not confirmed yet) will indeed be unveiled to the public at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show and will get an online debut a few days before the actual show.
The new F12 will come with a ton of carbon fiber accent pieces to add to its exclusivity. It will get carbon fiber applications on the front fenders and side skirts while the rear fenders have triple vents in order to offer extra cooling to the rear mounted gearbox, brakes or just to create a low pressure area under the rear wheel wells in order to increase downforce. Around the back, the new F12 will also get a much much sportier all new bumper with deeper recesses and of course more carbon fiber inserts. The new car will also get a better looking quad exhaust setup along with a rear spoiler. There is also a new carbon accent piece that connects the two rear tail lamps that adds to the sportier look of this new car.
Apart from getting major updates to the overall look and aero dynamics, the new F12 will also get a major weight reduction of upto 200 kilos and more power. According to sources, the new car will have an even more powerful V12 engine making upwards of 760PS of peak power giving it a 0-100kmph time of under three seconds. With new dealers already in place, expect a couple of the updated Ferrari F12 to make its way to India sooner than later.
