Eicher has reported a growth in sales of 0.8 per cent on a Year-on-Year basis by selling 3,736 units during January 2013
Home grown commercial vehicle maker Eicher has reported a growth in sales of 0.8 per cent for the month of January 2013 on a Year-on-Year basis. The company sold a total of 3,736 units in January 2013 as compared to 3,708 units sold in the corresponding period in 2012.
In the domestic commercial vehicle market (5 tonne and above segment), Eicher sold 3,638 units In January 2013 as compared to 3,551 units in January 2012, representing a growth of 2.5 per cent.
In the bus segment, Eicher’s sales stand at 506 units for the month of January 2013 as compared to 365 units sold during January 2012 thereby resulting in a growth of 38.6 per cent. In the Heavy Duty truck segment, Eicher sold 674 units in the first month of 2013 as compared to 579 units sold during January 2012, representing a growth of 16.4 per cent.
