Eicher opens dealership in Bihar

The new Eicher 3S (sales, service and spares) facility spread over 17,000 sq ft is located in Begusarai, Bihar
VE commercial vehicles (the joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors), has forayed into the Bihar commercial vehicle market with the inauguration of its 3S dealership in Begusarai. Eicher intends the new dealership to cater to the rapidly growing customer base in eastern India.
Located on the NH 3, Harpur Chowk, Begusarai the facility is spread over 17,000 sq feet and is equipped with the latest tools to service and repair the Eicher range of commercial vehicles. The service team at the new dealership have been trained at the Eicher training centre.
Present on the occasion Sree Ramarao, (Senior Vice President – After Market) said, “We want to get closer to our customers and ensure that they are able to get their products serviced much easier and faster. We are continuously enhancing the standards of our distribution centers so that we provide best-in-class service and a uniform customer experience.”
Currently, Eicher has 250 touch points across the country with 20 touch point located in eastern India. The company is continuously looking to expand its footprint across the nation to reduce the distances between dealerships and reach a greater customer base.
The first Eicher branded truck rolled off the production line from its Pithampur production plant in 1986 and over the decades the company has sold 3,00,000 vehicles in the country. Eicher now has commercial vehicles ranging from 5 tonne to 14 tonne trucks and 16 to 26 seater buses.
