Delhi Auto Expo 2012: Suzuki Motorcycles Showcase Plans

Suzuki Motorcycles India will showcase its local as well as import line-up at the 11th Auto Expo at Hall 14. Sales of two-wheelers have increased throughout the country due to the rise in fuel prices and making it difficult for commuters to choose between their cars. Suzuki Motorcycles India will be showcasing their entire line-up of manufactured and import vehicles at the Expo and the best thing to look out for at the stall would be the company’s flagship import, the Suzuki Hayabusa. 

Hayabusa, in Japanese is the peregrine falcon which is known for its vertical hunting dive speed of over 300 kmph. Since the conception of the motorcycle in 1999, the Hayabusa has been the fastest production motorcycle in the world. Also, with the ‘Busa’, also called the GSX 1300R, the Gixxer or the GSX 1000R, the Intruder Lineup which would include the recently launched Intruder M800, the Bandit S, the Intruder M1800RZ limited edition, the GS 150R and others in their current line-up.

In all probability, Suzuki may also bring in a few more imports and discuss its plans for the year ahead on marketing their products and bringing down the prices to a competitive level.  With a growth of 23 % in November 2011 as compared to the same period in 2010, the future for Suzuki and two-wheelers looks more competitive with a number of more models and manufacturers entering the market.
