When one thinks of long hauls, the only manufacturer that comes to mind is Harley Davidson. No matter whether it’s a Heritage Softail Classic or a V-Rod, a Harley is all you need. At the 2012 Auto Expo, Harley Davidson will showcase its entire India line-up at Hall 18, Pragati Maidan, from January 7 to January 11, 2012.
Undoubtedly, for a Harley, every customer is a custom. So, while the stock motorcycles will be showcased, customised Harleys would also be there. So, carry some bandage in case your Jaw drops. The stall will be inspired from its Industrial warehouse theme and its raw look which will bring the true nature of a Harley out.
Again, while talking of a Harley, its incomplete to talk of it without the exclusive Harley merchandise. A fashion show to showcase the motor-clothes offered in the country would also be organised. The company would also be showcasing a part of its Global Pink Range that supports breast cancer research across the globe.
Owning a Harley Davidson also has one more thing attached to it – Heavy Metal, clearly not in reference to the material used in the bike. Local Rock Bands, Split from Mumbai and Circus from New Delhi will also perform at the stall.
Add to that, the explanation behind each Harley that would be explained by the Vice-President of the company, Ray Drea himself and Frank Savage, Manager of Industrial Design, who will share the idea behind a custom Harley. Global leader in grand touring motorcycles, Harley Davidson came to India in 2009 and offers 15 models across 6 dealerships in Chandigarh, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
