Mahindra XUV 500: Back in September, this is one car that came and conquered the automotive world in a single night. Not only did the XUV500 break booking records (with 8,000 units in just 10 days), it also racked up over a lakh hits on our site just hours after our exclusive photo feature was published. We simply love this car for its stylish, beefy looks and the amount of safety features and gadgetry it packs for the price. An SUV that comes with six airbags, ABS, ESP, traction control, hill descent control, all-round disc brakes, cruise control, GPS navigation, power-folding mirrors, steering-mounted controls and more at a price range between Rs. 10.80 lakh and Rs. 12.88 lakh sounded too good to be true. Hyundai EON: The EON is not a car that one would associate with the term 'exciting' but the launch of the small car from Hyundai did shake up things in the entry-level hatchback segment. Just two months into its launch, the Hyundai EON has become the talk of the town notching up sales of 13,733 units. The EON's upmarket, modern styling proved that a small car needn't necessarily look cheap. The inside, too exudes a premium feel. At a starting price tag of Rs 2.70 lakhs and an ARAI-claimed best-in-class mileage of 21.1 kmpl, the EON makes for a really enticing buy. Ferrari 458 Italia: The 458 Italia is the best driving car made by Ferrari and is a perfect combination of technology and driving pleasure. Replacing the earlier, Ferrari F430, the menacing 4.5-liter V8 is capable of churning out 570 PS of power. There have been many supercars built with the sole purpose of blowing your mind, but none of them can quite stir your soul and make you fall in love the way a Ferrari can. Volkswagen Jetta: The Jetta's stunning looks and features like 3-point belt for the centre rear seat, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and 8 airbags gives even cars that are a segment above like Honda Accord and Toyota Camry a run for their money. Its understated lines give the sedan an elegant look, yet it has an element of youthfulness hidden in there. The Jetta comes with a 2.0-litre, 142 PS diesel engine, with both manual and automatic transmission options. Offered in four trims and six shades, the Jetta line starts at Rs. 14.12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
