Aston Martin Vulcan revealed

Aston Martin has revealed the track-focused Aston Martin Vulcan in full flesh at the 85th Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed as the ‘most intense and exhilarating creation to date’ by the British marque, only 24 examples of the car will be built.

The coupe sports a lower front end with thin LED headlights and receives a wide radiator grille, boomerang-shaped LED tail lamps and a large air diffuser. The Vulcan rides on 19-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels.

The Vulcan is powered by a naturally-aspirated 7.0-litre V12 engine that is tuned to send over 800PS to the rear wheels via a mid-mounted six-speed sequential gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The track-focused model is equipped with a pushrod suspension system and a number of electronic driving aids that can be adjusted or turned off entirely when needed.

The Vulcan also has a carbon-fibre monocoque, a limited-slip differential and a magnesium torque tube with a carbon fibre propeller shaft.

The owners of the Aston Martin will be offered the opportunity to participate in an extensive track training program.
