Budget 2014: Yamaha Motors announces price cuts

Yamaha Motors India has decided to pass on the price differential incurring after the price-cut on their products to customers

The direct impact of the reduction in excise duty from 12 per cent to eight per cent is visibly seen with all motoring giants announcing price-cuts. So now its Yamaha Motors India which has gone a step ahead to benefit its dealers and customers. The bike manufacture has announced price-cuts from Rs 1,033 to Rs 3,066 on all its models including scooters, depending on its variants. Also read: Hero and Honda reduce price

Yamaha Motors has decided to pass on the differential amount to the dealers on their existing as well as their transit stock thus enabling them to benefit their customers. This announcement came in after the Finance Ministry’s decision to cut excise duties on automobiles. Earlier Hero and Honda had announced price cuts on their automobiles. We are waiting for other two-wheeler manufacturers to follow suit too.
