BMW launches the new BMW M5 at 2012 Auto Expo

BMW India will be unveiling their Vision ConnectedDrive concept study at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The German luxury car maker has also launched the legendary BMW M5 at the expo. BMW is also showcasing the limited edition Steinway and Sons edition of the BMW 7 Series

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept study

BMW has hit their stand at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo with the fifth generation of the legendary M5 which will now be made available in India. BMW has also unveiled the Vision ConnectedDrive concept study. A limited edition Steinway and Sons edition of the BMW 7 Series is also being showcased for the discerning luxury car enthusiast. 

The BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept study is a technology crammed concept car that aims to interlink the world around you with various elements from online applications, driver assistance, call centre services and solutions for the integration of mobile devices. BMW Vision ConnectedDrive symbolises the epitome of intelligent networking of driver, vehicle and the environment in the modern world.

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive has strengthened the leading position of BMW in the development of innovative driver assistance systems. The concept symbolises the advanced level of intelligent networking in the automobile world which sets new benchmarks in convenience, infotainment and safety.”

BMW M5

The BMW M5 has been the pinnacle of an executive performance saloon for five generations. Forget sportscars and supercars, in the real world the M5 is the deal. With its 4.4 litre twin turbocharged V8 churning out 560PS of power the new M5 will do 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and will do 305 km/h with the ‘M’ driver’s package. The new BMW M5 will be available in our market with a price tag of Rs. 95 lakhs ex-showroom. 

BMW India has also showcased a limited edition BMW Individual 750Li at their stand. The car has been inspired by piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons is presented at the Auto Expo 2012 as part of a joint initiative between BMW and Steinway & Sons. The Steinway and Sons edition of the BMW 7 Series can be ordered as a CBU (completely built-up) unit across all BMW dealerships in the country.

The BMW India product range display at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo consists of the BMW 3 Series (BMW 320d Dynamic), the BMW 5 Series (BMW 530d), the BMW X1 (BMW X1 sDrive20d Exclusive) and the new BMW X3 (BMW X3 xDrive30d). BMW India has also displayed BMW 3 Series Convertible (BMW 330d Convertible), the new BMW 6 Series (the BMW 650i Convertible and the BMW 640d Coupe), the BMW X5 (the BMW X5 xDrive30d) and the BMW X6 (the BMW X6 xDrive30d) which can be ordered as CBUs.
