Bajaj Auto will be showcasing a range of new products at the Auto Expo this year which will be launched during the course of the year. However, there will be more products that will be in showrooms in 2014 than the ones on display, but the ones at the Expo, we believe, would be crucial. These new products will be from the Pulsar and Discover range of motorcycles and there will also be a production ready RE 60 on display.

The exact details on what these new motorcycles will be isn't clear yet, but we expect the unveiling of the long awaited Pulsar 200SS to take place at the Auto Expo, which is essentially the faired version of the Pulsar 200NS. Bajaj wouldn’t restrict itself to just the Pulsar 200SS as other new variants and products in the Pulsar portfolio are also expected. We expect the Pulsar range to be updated cosmetically and mechanically, especially the Pulsar 150 and 180, which haven’t been updated for a longtime. The Discover range will see new versions of existing platforms and there’s also a possibility of an all new offering too.

Also on display in the motorcycle segment will be an all new cruiser concept. You can read more about the bike here: Bajaj to launch new cruiser motorcycle in 2015. The new cruiser concept will be a different take from the Avenger the company currently sells and will spawn a new motorcycle due to hit showrooms in 2015. There will be no KTM or Ninja products on display, sadly. KTM has already revealed its lineup for this year and Kawasaki's upcoming products have also been announced. So, there’s nothing new for the two brands to showcase.

In the four wheeler space, Bajaj will showcase its quadricycle, the RE60. This will be the production version of the quadricycle unlike the one showcased last Expo which was one of the first prototypes. The new RE60 is supposed to have improvements made to its exterior and interior design, besides better fit and finish and more features thanks to extensive real world testing the RE60 has undergone. The RE60 was developed to cater the needs of the commercial passenger segment and is designed to gradually replace the autorickshaw as a mode of transport. The RE60, in Rajiv Bajaj’s own word is a four-wheeler and not a car as many think it as a competitor for the Tata Nano. Also Read: Bajaj RE60 : More than a Nano
