Bajaj Auto is set to introduce a new black-gold colour scheme on the Pulsar RS 200, and a few black RS 200s have already landed at dealerships.
Currently, the Pulsar RS 200 is only available in shades of red and yellow, and the new black shade adds graphics in golden to the fuel tank, fairing and side panels.
The black RS200 also sports the ‘Race Sport’ and ABS badge so this could well be offered as an ‘ABS-only’ colour. Bajaj Auto is likely to roll out the new colour variant of the RS 200 shortly.
The Pulsar RS 200 is powered by a single cylinder, four-stroke 199.5cc, liquid cooled engine, which makes 24.5PS of power @ 9,750rpm and 18.6Nm of torque @8000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The Pulsar RS 200 sports twin projector headlamps, crystal LED tail lights, ABS, digital-analog instrument cluster, split seats and clip-on handlebars.
Offered in two variants, the Pulsar RS 200 ABS variant costs Rs 12,000 more than the standard variant at Rs 1,30,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The non-ABS Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 costs Rs 1,18,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
