Country's second largest bike maker Bajaj Auto has unveiled its latest offering, the Bajaj Discover 125 DTSi

Next month, Pune-based motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto will be adding the all-new Discover 125 DTSi motorcycle to its existing product portfolio. Aimed to fight in the rapidly increasing 125cc market, the new motorcycle will offer solid value-for-money to buyers looking for a stylish yet affordable commuter. Currently Bajaj Auto has two models in the Discover range – the Discover 100 DTS-Si and the Discover 150 DTSi. Both these products have been doing quite well in their respective segments raking in impressive sales numbers for the company. Bajaj Auto is now hoping that their upcoming launch, the Discover 125 DTSi will further boost and fortify their hold in the market.

The new Discover 125 DTSi is powered by a 124.6cc single cylinder air-cooled DTSi engine that produces 11PS of power at 8000rpm and 10.8Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Fueling is via a conventional carburetor and the motorcycle will offer kick-start as well as an electric start and the power is transmitted via a 5-speed gearbox. The bike promises to offer good level of equipment such as an optional 200mm disc brake upfront, trip-meter, Nitrox rear suspension, etc. It weighs 118.5 kg and offers a fuel tank capacity of 8 litres including 1.5 litres of reserve. The price is yet to be announced but knowing Bajaj Auto, it will certainly be competitively priced against its rivals in the already crowded 125cc motorcycle segment.
