Bajaj Auto sales decline in September

Motorcycle sales at Bajaj Auto fell by nearly 5 per cent while the company posted close to 4 per cent decline in overall sales

Bajaj Auto has reported a 3.76 per cent decline in overall sales in September at 3,84,400 units as against 3,99,450 units in the same period last year.

Motorcycle sales in September fell by 4.83 per cent to 3,30,228 units as against 3,47, 010 units in September 2014. 

Exports at Bajaj Auto also came down marginally by 0.23 per cent, from 1,74,211 units a year ago to 1,73,801 units in September this year.

Bajaj Auto’s commercial vehicle sales however posted a growth of 3.3 per cent in September, growing from 52,440 units in September last year to 54,172 units this year.
