Audi inaugurates showroom in Visakhapatnam

The German luxury car maker, Audi, has inaugurated its second showroom in Andhra Pradesh at Visakhapatnam after Hyderabad, sprawling a good 4,750 sq ft area. The entire Audi India model range will be available for sale in this new showroom. The showroom was inaugurated by Joe King, Head, Audi India and Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, Audi Visakhapatnam (M/S Olympus Motors Pvt Ltd).

The Audi Visakhapatnam showroom will house an Audi shop where customers can purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise. The display area of the showroom will display the Audi model range available in India.

Speaking on this occasion, King says, “We are extremely proud of our achievement of having created another milestone in the journey of Audi in India by becoming the first luxury car manufacturer to sell 10,000 cars in a calendar year. We started 2014 on a strong note by continuing with our expansion strategy on the product front by launching the Audi RS 7 Sportback and on our network front by opening Audi Nashik in January this year. The inauguration of Audi Visakhapatnam marks our presence in one of the key emerging markets for luxury automobiles in India and provides us with an opportunity to capitalise on the growing demand for luxury in this region.”

The Audi Visakhapatnam showroom will also manage the Audi service facility in the next three months, which would be located at Paradesipalem, NH-5, Visakhapatnam–Bhubaneswar Highway, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This facility will have a capacity to service 12 cars per day in a single shift alongwith body shop and paint shop.
