The British carmaker will launch two new cars- the 2015 V8 Vantage GT and the 2015 DB9 Carbon Edition sports car at the New York Auto Show this year. The V8 Vantage GT, will be priced starting from Rs 59.65 lakh making it the least expensive Aston Martin car in the market.

The V8 Vantage GT is essentially a renamed version of the Vantage N430 that debuted at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show last month. As a result, it will be available as a coupe and roadster that features black accents, clear taillights and graphite painted diamond-turned alloy wheels. The model also has sport seats and machined carbon sill plaques.

A 4.7-litre V-8 engine will run under the hood of the 2015 V8 Vantage GT, to produce 430PS of power. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual or seven-speed automated manual transmission. The car is expected to accelerate from 0-100kmph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 300kmph.

The car rides on 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels which are offered in either satin black or silver. Customers can also order the brake calipers in red, yellow, black or grey. The two-tone interior is virtually identical to the standard model but has black accents and carbon branded sill plates.

A 6.0-litre V-12 engine will underpin the DB9 Carbon Edition to produce 520PS of power. The standard transmission is a six-speed automatic. This new car is priced at Rs 1.20 crore.
