The next event on the Royal Enfield calendar takes participants across the border to our neighbours in Nepal. This fifth edition of the Royal Enfield Tour of Nepal will be flagged off on 25th April and will continue on till 9th May. This year’s ride will see around 30 participants commence the ride from Lucknow and covering a total distance of around 2,000km.
Participants will ride to Pokhra via Jomsom where they are expected to encounter some extreme off-road trails enroute to Muktinath. The ride will also take the participants to the birthplace of Buddha in Mumbini.
“Flagging off on April 25, 2016 from Lucknow, the ride promises to offer an off-roading experience with an inexplicable adrenaline rush, winding mountain roads, slushy trails & even straight stretches through some of the most pristine forests, and is bound to satisfy your wanderlust in every sense of the word”, says Royal Enfield in an official statement.
Covering over 2,000km over 15 days, the ride promises to have a good combination of twisties in the Himalayas, off-road sections, slushy trails and even some smooth highway roads. Registrations for the 2016 Tour of Nepal are open for riders.
