The Nissan pavilion will showcase a vibrant car display ranging from the powerful GT-R to the all-new X-Trail to the humongous Patrol at the 2016 Auto Expo

Nissan GT-R

Nissan GT-R: Nissan will finally be launching the GT-R, also known as ‘Godzilla’ amongst petrol-heads around the world. The GT-R is a supercar which is capable of achieving blistering speeds with insane acceleration. Powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the GT-R is capable of producing 548PS of power and 628Nm of torque. All this power and torque gets equally distributed to all four wheels through a dual-clutch 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox. The Nissan GT-R will be a direct import from Japan and is expected to fetch a price tag of Rs 1.5-1.75 crore in the Indian market.

Nissan Patrol

Nissan Patrol: Nissan’s full blown mega-size SUV, Patrol, will make it public launch at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Patrol is a powerfully built SUV with a 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine which is capable of churning out 405PS of power and 550Nm of torque which is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox with all-wheel drive system. On a competition check, the Nissan Patrol will compete against the likes of Toyota Land Cruiser and the Range Rover Sport. The humongous SUV is expected to hover around the 1 crore mark.

Nissan X-Trail

Nissan X-Trail: The Nissan X-Trail’s initial foray into the country didn’t really set the cash registers ringing for its manufacturer but Nissan is hoping for a better reception from customers this time round. The new X-Trail has been built on a completely fresh platform, and is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine capable of producing 144PS of power and 200Nm of torque. For the diesel variant the X-Trail will get a 2.5 litre engine, producing 171PS of power and 233Nm of torque. Both variants will be offered with a seven-speed X-Tronic automatic gearbox with optional four-wheel drive to choose from. Imported via the CBU-route, the Nissan X-Trail is expected to be launched with a sticker price ranging from Rs 32-35 lakh.
