Aside from a refreshed version of the GT650R, Hyosung will also have the GT300R, the Aquila 300 and the GD450 on display

Hyosung GT300R

At 2015 EICMA, Hyosung showed brought in an update to pretty much its entire line-up of offerings including the GT650R. The Korean motorcycle manufacturer is expected to bring the same line-up of motorcycles to the 2016 Auto Expo next month.

Kawasaki brought in the Ninja 300 as a replacement to the aging Ninja 350R in 2013. Hyosung will follow the lead, albeit a bit late and bring in the GT300R. Just like its Japanese competitor, Hyosung too will pull the GT250R out of the market to make way for the new offering. The Hyosung GT300R will feature a 275cc v-twin that pumps 28PS of power and 23.5Nm of torque. This unit will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The GT250R isn’t the only model that will be replaced with a larger unit. The Aquila 300 will follow the suit as well. In fact it will sport the same engine that will work force on the GT300R. However, in this model it will be marginally detuned and is expected to make 26.6PS. The torque rating though will remain at 23.5Nm.

For the first time in India, Hyosung will also take the wraps off the GD450. The motorcycle was unveiled in concept form at EICMA 2015 and is expected to go on sale later this year. This new street naked is powered by a 449cc liquid-cooled unit that is good for 50PS and 47.7Nm. This engine however will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Aside from the GT300R, the Aquila 300 and the GD450, Hyosung will also have the updated GT650R on display. The GT650R now gets a smoother design language that welcomes a new tank, air scoops and vents. The headlight, the fairing, seats and the tail section have been reworked too. Hiding behind the fairing though will be the same 647cc 90 degree v-twin that pumps out 74.4PS and 54.5Nm.

All these motorcycles will be seen at the Hyosung pavilion from 5th February to 9th February at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. Stay tuned for more details from Hyosung about the launch of these new offerings.
