2016 Auto Expo: Hero MotoCorp unveils four new bikes at event

While there was a lot of buzz at the Hero MotoCorp pavilion with Ranbir Kapoor making an appearance at the 2016 Auto Expo, for us auto journalists it was all about the 4 new bike unveils.

Hero took the wraps off an all new commuter - the Splendor iSmart 110. It's an all new motorcycle with a freshly developed 110cc unit. As the name rightly suggest, this new offering too will get the patented i3S technology. The Splendor iSmart 110 makes 9.1PS and 9Nm and comes mated to a 4-speed transmission.

Aside from the Splendor iSmart 110, Hero also showcased a new Xtreme 200S. Powered by an air-cooled single cylinder unit that makes 18.6PS and 17.2Nm. The Xtreme 200S comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. Hero is expected to launch the Xtreme 200S in 2017.

Aside from these two models, Hero also showed a new concept the XF3R and an electrically powered e-Duet.
