2015 Skoda Fabia interior revealed

Skoda had teased its 2015 Fabia several times earlier, but the Czech carmaker was in no mood to reveal the car in full guise until last week. Although, Skoda took the wraps off its new car, the carmaker had still not revealed the interior of the new 2015 Skoda Fabia. The Czech carmaker has now given us a first glimpse of the new car’s interior.

First up, the new hatch is wider, so the elbow room has been increased by 21mm in the front and 2mm at the back. The 2015 Skoda Fabia comes with the biggest trunk in its class, standing at a whopping 330 litres, 15 litres more than before. The load area is 960mm wide and comes with a low lip, making loading and unloading easy.

Skoda has provided its 2015 Fabia with MirrorLink technology which allows drivers to control smartphone apps from the infotainment screen via a USB connection. Other features include a multimedia device cradle in the centre console, bigger storage for bottles in the rear doors and glove compartment, parking ticket holder on the left-side A-pillar and two (optional) hooks in the trunk.

The 2015 Skoda Fabia will hit the production line later this month at the Czech carmaker’s manufacturing facility in Mlada Boleslav, Prague. The new car will make its world premiere at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.
