2015 Nissan GT Academy registrations begin

Subsequent to the success of the GT Academy last year, Nissan has once again opened for qualifications for the new season. This is the seventh season of the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy competition in India. 

Avid motorsport enthusiasts and gamers can play the Gran Tourismo on the PlayStation Sony Entertainment Network account to qualify for the national finals. Other participants who wish to compete can log on to the GT Academy website to pre-register and then compete in the live events. These live events will start in Delhi from June 5 and other cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai will follow.  

Participants playing online will get a chance to have a go on the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO at the historic Circuit de la Sarth, the home of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The car will make its real-life debut in the iconic race later this month.  Only two weeks remain to enter the GT Academy 2015 competition via GT6 and chase the dream of racing for real. The final round of the online qualifying competition goes live on Tuesday, 2 June and runs until 16 June, just after the actual Le Mans race.

Of all the participants, the top 10 fastest ones will go head to head at the National finals later in June. OF these, six finalists will then get a chance to move to the Silverstone Race Camp to compete int he GT Academy Asia. The winner of the GT Academy Asia will bag an opportunity to race at the Dubai 24hrs in January 2016.
