Maruti Suzuki is readying the new Ertiga facelift and here are fresh photos of what it looks like

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift

Maruti’s popular MPV, the Ertiga is all set to get its first refresh after its launch in 2012. But while we ponder about what it will look like, pictures have surfaced online of the facelifted Suzuki Ertiga in Indonesia, just in time for its unveil at the upcoming 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

The 2015 Ertiga sports a bolder three slat chrome laden front grille, chrome around the fog lamps and more chrome at the rear above the number plate. Clearly, Maruti Suzuki wants the Ertiga to look more premium than before. The 2015 Ertiga also gets a new and more aggressive bumper. The rear gets taillamp extensions running all the way to the number plate, which will most probably be reflectors.

While there are no pictures of the interiors yet, we expect the Ertiga to come with more features like a Touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, keyless entry and start/stop on the top end model. On the powertrain front, expect the same set of engines.

The petrol will be the 1.4-litre 95PS/130Nm mill and the diesel will be the 1.3-litre 90PS/200Nm block. The latter however should come with improved mileage figures. Currently the diesel is rated at 20.77kmpl so expect Maruti to get this number higher.
