2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS revealed

Aprilia has revealed the 2015 version of the Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS. The Aprilia Tuono is the street bike version of the flagship V4 superbike and for 2015 the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer has updated the bike mostly on the mechanical front. The biggest change is the hike in the power output; the 2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS produces peak power of 170PS from a 999.6cc motor, which is an increase of 3PS over its predecessor alongwith marginal improvement in torque figures. The Aprilia Tuono also receives a Racing ABS system with three different settings with an option of completely disengaging it. 

The new offering also gets equipped with Track, Sport and Road modes alongwith the Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) system with eight levels of traction control, three-way wheelie control, launch control and a quickshifter. So one thing is for sure that the electronic nanny would prevent the rider from falling into a tricky situation. Suspension duties are taken care of by Sachs sourced suspension system while braking is done via Brembo disc brakes with radial-mounted calipers. 

The 2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS will be available in two colour options - Matte White and Matte Black. The new offering has been priced at Rs 8.83 lakh in the US market. It is expected that the 2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS will be offered in our market via the CKD route and will compete the BMW S1000R and Kawasaki Z1000 in our two-wheeler market.
